Luke and Paola were supposed to get married on March 27, but had to postpone their wedding to October due to certain world events, which we will not name. These two planned and re-planned their wedding at least three times before they were FINALLY able to get married in their "Plan C" ceremony. It wasn't the wedding they'd anticipated, but it was absolutely the most perfect and beautiful day.
Paola and Luke finally got to say "I Do" surrounded by their immediate families and while including their friends through Zoom and a live stream. Paola's family went ALL OUT and turned their back yard into the most dreamy venue!! It was seriously beautiful. Unfortunately, Paola's maid of honor couldn't be at the wedding (she lives in Spain and couldn't travel to the states), but she was still there in more than just spirit -- Paola had a life-sized cutout of Jody wearing her bridesmaids dress made, complete with a bouquet holder, that they included in the festivities! Jody joined us for the wedding party photos and even got to stand in at the ceremony as Paola and Luke exchanged vows!
Perhaps the best part of having a wedding at home was that Paola and Luke's beautiful doggo got to join in the fun! Zeke, a German Shepherd-Husky mix, got to take photos with his mom and dad, stand in at the ceremony with the best man, do a little dancing, and even steal some yummy wedding food off of mom and dad's plates when they weren't looking!
Paola and Luke -- I'm so happy to have been there to document your beautiful day!! I hope you all enjoy these photos-- be on the lookout for Cardboard Jody and Zeke stealing a few nibbles of food, haha!
